Ramble On

The Dreamer still Sleeps. As long as it breathes, the Dreamer will continue to sleep. Though cast into a self-made prison meant for what is called 'experience' and 'growth', even the Dreamer is no longer aware of Its original purpose. Asleep within the Lotus of the Creator's stomach are an infinite number of Dreamers, but in essence, they are One; and collective of only one Mind.

It is not known when the Dreamer will awaken. It is not clear if the Dreamer ever will awaken, shaded within those translucent pink petals of the lotus, laying upon a bed of crimson stalk, in a world that is not our own, unobtainable yet always beside us, inside us, around us. We can never in our mortal existence completely reach the Dreamer, as we ourselves in this life can never be in two places at once. Our soul longs for it, however, and wishes to return to the Oneness of the Dreaming.

Here we are in this world, the world that we seem to think is the only one. But what is beyond? Better things? When we die, or we part from each other, will we all see each other again? Have we met before, and are we all interacting with certain ones we interacted with before, or is it all random? Our mortal minds, which only understand what is around us and what is alive, we are afraid of losing and never finding each other again.

But what if we are each other. What if we are a shell or a fragment, an illusion that thinks it is real, a piece of the dreamer in a dream. What if in 'reality' that is 'beyond reality', there is no 'us', but only one gathered pool of consciousness. In a way, that is horrifying. But if it is so horrifying that I am selfish to not want to lose my own petty individuality, why does the feeling of losing myself and being absorbed by another or by life feel so good and right? Do we really want to become one again, we have just truly forgotten the bliss of it?

And yes, it goes back to the concept of love and sex. I don't think that, if used in right and good ways, either are 'wrong' or 'worldly'. I disagree that sex is animalistic. Some of the greatest forms of spirituality I have ever experienced came during love and sex that had to do with love. Maybe the ideal of sex is not just attractive to our body chemistry, but to our soul, where we do not completely realize it but want to go back to the state of oneness, the lack of Ego and self, the gathering of all that we could have once been or maybe still are somewhere that we can't touch. A shard of what we were wants to grow and be more, to be 'complete'. We can be ourselves and happy with who we are and complete, the addition of another is just a transcendence that brings on another completeness.

Okay so my creative imagination is running away with me, making up little stories to try to explain things I can't explain.

The best thing I can admit to in spirituality is that I know absolutely nothing. All I have are pieces of religion fit into my mind like an unfinished puzzle (and one, mind you, that was given with pieces that were missing so that the puzzle will forever be incomplete ). Everyone's always arguing with what is right or wrong with our own personal ideals and beliefs about religion and that is a severe mistake, as we as a human race will never completely believe anything in a truly like manner. In the end, we create what we feel is suitable to believe in. We blend this or that religion into this or that religion and make a swirl like Jell-O-pudding, and before long you take a mental spoon and stir it all up and you have an accepted branch of a religion that is taken for absolute truth 200 or 50 or 20 years later.

I mean hell, my mom's religion was originally based in the South on plantations where slaves gathered and originally practiced their 'vodoo' rituals or whatever, but were converted to Christianity yet retained certain elements and rituals that were in their former practices.
